Hypnosis is a wonderful state of relaxation, allowing the mind to simply take a break for a moment; just enough to allow effective communication to take place with the conscious and subconscious mind.
When in total relaxation the conscious mind understands the motivation of the subconscious mind. All of the positive suggestions that are given, are more readily accepted and the old behaviour can be replaced with the new behaviour.
During this wonderful experience, you are completely aware of everything around you, (All our emotions, feelings, experiences, memories-all the things that are outside of our conscious awareness). We are already good at putting ourselves into this 'trance' state multiple times a day; like driving your car, scrolling on your phone, completing everyday tasks, watching TV, and more.

Hypnosis is a safe, natural relaxed trance state and one which you have experienced many times before (sometimes many times a day). You are aware and in control at all times. It feels like being half awake and half asleep, so your body is very relaxed and your mind is active.
If you are interested in Hypnotherapy, the first step would begin by meeting in person or virtually with me. This would be your opportunity to tell me more about yourself, your goals, to ask questions, and to feel comfortable with the process. I will explain how hypnosis works and if hypnosis is the right fit for you.
You will hear the majority of what I will say and sometimes consciously drift away from the words that is being said to you (which is totally normal) but you will still be aware. It will feel very relaxing.
There will be 'chatter' that comes and goes during your session in your mind. This is normal and when it happens, all you have to do is be aware of it and let it go. Hypnosis feels very comfortable , safe and in this quiet state, your mind is more responsive to the positive suggestions.

Initial Hypnosis Consultation is your first step in your Hypnotherapy journey. This is where you will meet with me in person or virtually to discuss what Hypnosis is and your intentions or goals are and to see if Hypnosis is a good fit for you!
A Hypnotherapy session is the next step to book after your initial consultation with me, for your 1st, 2nd and 3rd session. This can be In person or virtually.

Have your initial consultation and your first Hypnotherapy session at the the same time. Can be in person or virtually.
*The initial consultation and session will take approximately an hour and half*
This program is to use Hypnotherapy to help stop smoking.
This program consists of 3 sessions. Before you commit to this program you will have to do the Initial Consultation, which is included with this program. Your first session is 1.5hr long due to the consult and the session 2 & 3 of the sessions are done weekly. This program can be done in person or virtually.

This program is to use Hypnotherapy to help manage weight.
This program consists of 5 sessions. Before you commit to this program you will have to do the Initial Consultation which is included with this program. Session one is 1.5 hrs long. The 1-3rd sessions are done weekly, 4 & 5th sessions are followed bi-weekly. This program can be done in person or virtually.

This normal state of mind (which we access many times in the day and are not even aware of this) is the same relaxed state that we are in upon awakening and when we go to sleep, or when you ‘zone out’ in front of the TV.
